Le Garage Hairdressing started in 2009 in a little room off a garage in Titahi Bay
Not just any garage, but a glamorous, fully kitted-out salon space tucked just off the side of a family home. With more than one chair and all the bells and whistles, it was far from makeshift. It was here that a loyal client base first began to grow, drawn to the salon’s unique mix of warmth, professionalism, and style.
From there, Le Garage moved into a purpose-built salon space at home in Whitby, with an edgy, industrial vibe that kept the “garage” feel alive – a nod to where it all began.
Now proudly based in Aotea, the salon has evolved once again...
With a softer, more refined look and feel, it’s a bright, welcoming space that reflects just how far Le Garage has come, but the heart of it remains the same.
The name “Le Garage” has followed us through every stage – a playful, proud reminder of our roots and the incredible clients who’ve been with us since the very beginning.
