Owner, Founder & Head Stylist
My journey in the hairdressing industry began at the age of 13. Over the past 25 years, I’ve not only created my dream job but have also built a successful salon and cultivated a thriving team of talented stylists.
When I’m not at the salon or pouring my heart into my business, I’m busy raising my three beautiful children alongside my husband, Troy. You can often find me recharging in nature whether it's tending to my garden or caring for my animals, or finding anywhere to soak up the sun, I find peace in the quiet moments spent outdoors.
I absolutely treasure the loyal community of clients I have built over the decades and remain dedicated to making sure every one of my clients feel confident from the inside out when they leave my salon.

Salon Manager & Senior Stylist
Kia orana e kia manuia. My hairdressing career began in 2003, and for over two decades, I have dedicated myself to the artistry of beautiful hair.
When I joined the Le Garage team, I brought 16 years of industry experience with me, yet I truly believe there is always room to grow, evolve, and lift those around us. This belief in constant growth has led me to my current role as Manager. Stepping into leadership has been a natural progression of my commitment to the salon and our team. I have been shaped by strong mentors whose dedication to excellence and teamwork set a standard I am proud to uphold every day.
I am known for working calmly and confidently under pressure, even in our busiest moments. This steadiness is guided by the teachings of my tupuna (grandparents) and the leadership of those I work alongside. As a manager, my goal is to foster that same environment of calm confidence for both our stylists and our clients. While I now lead the team, my heart remains behind the chair. Nothing fulfills me more than witnessing that shift in a client's smile – the subtle lift of confidence as they see themselves in the mirror. It is, quite simply, the best feeling.

Qualified Hairdresser
Hi I’m Jess, a fully qualified hairdresser with a love and passion for all things hair.
Since I was younger I have always wanted to be a hairdresser, and after recently qualifying after four years of training at Le Garage Hairdressing, I have developed a love for making every client who sits in my chair look and feel their best.
In my free time I enjoy keeping up my creativity by doing art, long walks by the beach, and a cheeky rosebud with the girls.
Camille
Qualifying Hairdresser
Hey I’m Camille. I’ve spent the last three years in the hairdressing industry and will be sitting my final assessments in 2026.
I love connecting with my clients and continuing to grow my skills as I work toward becoming a fully qualified stylist.
I’m passionate about all things colour, cutting, and modern styling, and I’m always refining my craft to create looks that are personalised to each and every client. I’m all about creating a relaxed, welcoming experience and making sure every client leaves feeling confident and looked after.
Outside of the salon, you’ll find me enjoying outdoor adventures, soaking up the sun, baking something sweet, or spending time with family and friends.
Heather
Final Year Apprentice
Hey! My journey began in 2022 when I joined a hairdressing course. I quickly found my passion for hair, and later that year I was lucky enough to join the team here at Le Garage, where I’ve now been for just over three years. I’ve loved every part of it!
I’m currently in the final stretch of my apprenticeship and will be sitting my finals this year to become fully qualified. I’m so excited for what’s to come this year – perfecting my skill set, getting to know you all more, and creating many beautiful hairstyles for you!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and have a newfound interest in travel. I’d love to hear all your stories and recommendations.
Haleigh
Third Year Apprentice
Hey I’m Haleigh, and I’m excited to be entering my third year of my hairdressing apprenticeship at Le Garage Hairdressing.
Over the past few years I’ve discovered how much I love bringing out the best in my clients through colouring and styling.
As I move into my third year, I’m excited to keep growing my clientele, learn new skills, take on more advanced work and continue building strong relationships within the salon.
In my spare time you’ll find me walking my family dog, Archie, spending time with friends and family or in a sunny spot drinking a frozen margarita.

First Year Apprentice
Hey, I’m Mahana. I’m currently in my first year of my apprenticeship, and I can honestly say I’m loving every second!
My journey started in the chair at Le Garage Hairdressing, where the incredible experience inspired me to pursue this career myself.
My true passion for Hairdressing goes beyond hair, as I love the connection between stylist and client; I strive to make the time spent in the chair the highlight of someone’s week.

Salon Assistant
Hi, I'm Matilda! I am nearly 17 and currently a Salon Assistant here at Le Garage.
My journey began three years ago when I started helping out part-time at my mother's salon. I quickly discovered a deep passion for the industry and have been inspired every day by the successful business she has built.
In the salon, I take pride in supporting our talented team with daily tasks and ensuring every client feels welcomed and pampered from the moment they walk in.
I feel so lucky to be learning the ropes in such a creative environment and am incredibly excited to officially begin my hairdressing apprenticeship in 2027!
