Amanda started in the hairdressing industry when she was just 13. Over the last 22 years she has built a successful hair salon and created her dream job. Developing Le Garage has been her passion, alongside raising her three beautiful children with the help of her husband Troy. Her love for hairdressing and dedication to her clients has lead to a loyal clientele that she treasures dearly. She finds so much pleasure in helping her clients to feel beautiful and confident inside and out.

Kia Orana, my journey in hairdressing began in 2003 were I became a technician at Rodney Wayne were I was lucky enough to work along side amazing people who taught me a lot about the trade. I soon realised hairdressing is where my heart belongs and has proven to be the best decision I have ever made. I can’t believe I have been behind the chair for over 19 years while being a mother to my 3 beautiful daughters. I still love this incredible industry for its fashion, art and creativity. Using these to help someone else express themselves is one of the best parts of my job.

I’ve always had a passion for hairdressing. It all started when I got the opportunity to do work experience at a salon which lead me to an amazing opportunity to receive a hairdressing apprenticeship. I have over 10 years experience but have spent the last 4 years focusing on being a mum to my three beautiful children and now I'm so ready to get back into my passion of doing what I love, making others look and feel amazing. I am so excited to see what the future holds for me here at Le Garage.
JESS - APPRENTICE
My hairdressing journey started recently, in 2022 I began my apprenticeship and Im loving every minute of it. I have been passionate about getting into the industry since I can remember and have always loved how creative and hands on it is. I love chatting with the clients and getting to know them and seeing their smile when they walk out of the salon. Outside of the salon I have a passion for art, and love spending time with the people I love most.
